Some Authors I Like

I wanted to recommend some writers just because I can. I scoop up every book I can find by these folks and read them through immediately. For mysteries; Ian Rankin particularly the Rebus series Peter James Roy Grace series Michael Connelly Harry Bosch series John Sanford Kidd novels (wish he'd write more) For Sci-Fi Cory Doctorow Most available free online but buy them Cyberpunk William Gibson Fantasy Terry Pratchett Totally awesome stack to read

Just finished a terrific book by Scott Stratten called The Book Of Business Awesome in which he relates stories of businesses that acted in Awesome ways to provide customers with great experiences that would engage them and bring them back. He is the president of UnMarketing.com, a company that combines efforts in viral, social and authentic marketing. This book is a good read for you social marketing types and an awesome bargain as well since when you flip it over it is a second book called the Book Of Business UnAwesome which shares the other side of the story.

So I have not been a very prolific blogger especially about books which are so important to me. I have just registered a domain and I'm in conversation with a provider so maybe a sales site will emerge. If you have reading preferences let me know and I'll keep an eye out as I claw through the stacks.

I thought that when I started this site that I would be getting busy with it. That was before some financing I went after came through. I was honestly engaged in applying for it but I didn't think it would happen so now with cash in hand I am tied in a massive home renovation project that goes on and on.
The full time "job" I have is becoming a physical problem for me and with my pension in view in the spring I need to do some realignment of goals and get going with the business of book selling. Look for more soon !

This blog is a place where I get to talk about the books and authors that I appreciate and nobody will yawn and start a different conversation. Books that I review are available in limited quantity for sale at good prices. My opinions are my own and bear no reflection on anyone else's world view. My viewpoint of course is informed and correct. I am currently in setup mode here and establishing affiliate connections to bring a good choice of titles to you so hang on and we'll get things going as quickly as possible.
